Larson Bros. OM ES European Series 2010

2010 Larson Bros OM acoustic guitar, in excellent condition, from their previous ES European Series made at the Furch facility. Solid European spruce top, solid rosewood back & sides, and ebony fingerboard. Abalone fingerboard dots & inlays. Mahogany maple neck. Bone nut & saddle. Gotoh open back tuners. Comes in a Larson Bros case.

Modelled after the original guitars made by the Larson Brothers which were popular in Chicago during the 1930s and 1940s. The brothers made guitars sold under other companies names including "Stahl, Maurer, Prairie State, Euphonon, Dyer, Bruno." They patented techniques in guitar building, such as laminated bracing, metal support rods, and guitar top and back under tension. Larson Brothers Guitars were popular with the country and western singers on WLS-AM in Chicago and were used by artists such as Marjorie Lynn, the Prairie Ramblers, Gene Autry, and Patsy Montana. In 2007, the Larson Brothers brand was sold to Toni Gotz. He and Roman Zajicek, a luthier from the Czech Republic, built models based on the original Larson guitars.
