2023 Gibson Custom Shop Historic Pre-War SJ-200 Rosewood Sunburst, in virtually as new condition. We had heard this line of Pre-War SJ-200's were good, but we really can't express how blown away we were by this beauty. Stylised based off of its descendants from the late 1930's, this guitar exudes vintage vibe and tone - sounds insanely open and played in for a virtually new guitar. Constructed with a select thermally aged Adirondack red spruce top with traditionally hand-scalloped X bracing with hot hide glue, Rosewood back and sides and premium ebony for the fingerboard and bridge. Honestly, one of the finest J-200's we've ever had the pleasure of playing. Includes OHSC, cert and pictured paraphernalia.
