1952 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop, in great vintage condition. Right where it all started, a beautiful example from the first year of production of this iconic model. We seldom get these early Les Pauls in and they're getting even harder to find nowadays, especially at attainable prices - this one has a few things that has it at a keener price.
The guitar has refinish and overspray work on the back of the neck and back of the headstock. We cannot detect any breaks after inspection under blacklight. Everything else sports the original finish, including that gorgeous Gold top which has naturally aged and checked beautifully. The bridge has been changed to a Mojoaxe for playability purposes. Electronics are all original aside from a solder touchup on the bridge pickup wire and the switchtip. The original P-90's sound out of this world. A professional re-fret has been carried out, along with a new nut. This one is a lightweight example that plays and sounds great. Includes a non-original repo case and original bridge.
